BCU Basketball & Volleyball

Just to update you on Billy, Matt & Lynn: They are all having a blast at Briar Cliff & are making a lot of really good friends. When they come home on weekends there are so many stories - I know, hard to believe. I know the kids can't wait for the ND trip (I know I can't!) I don't know who is aware, but unfortunately Billy got cut from the team, but he is a student coach, so is still very involved, just from a different aspect.
Lynn is on the j.v. volleyball team but doesn't really get to play much - I think she is a little frustrated, but that next level can be tough.
Thank you to any/all of you who support their teams in any way - I know they really appreciate it!

Weekend at the Peters place

Tommy, Andy, Emma, & I stayed with Ally & Calan last weekend. The kids had a great time & were really good! I couldn't believe how easy Cal was to take care of ( maybe that was because Andy did most of the entertaining & Emma changed diapers) I loved it when Ally told me I looked pretty & I said that she was such a nice little girl - her response was: "I was raised to be nice" How cute is that!

Saturday evening Tommy & Emma got adventurous & found a salamander - they sure had fun playing with it! We all went out & played soccer on Sun. It was a really good weekend - I might have to send Gary & Lisa away again so we can do more of that!!

Billy's party was a lot of fun! Jess Geelan (Marty's wife) & I took on Aunt Lisa & Matt in Beer Pong, but we lost :( I'd never seen a keg stand before either! Grandpa Al & Bev even came & partied with Billy, along with his cousins Brett & Jack & roommates Phil & Jeff from ILCC (what great guys!) As well as many other friends & family members. Thanks to all who came & celebrated. (Get ready for Matt's-next July!! )

Lynn's graduation

Everything went really well for Lynn on her big day! I had no idea she would have a solo when the chorus began to sing, which of course caused me to shed a few tears.

She was also presented the American Bar Assoc. citizenship award.

It turned out to be a beautiful day! Thanks to all of our friends & family who have been so supportive of Lynn throughout her many activities all of these years! She has made us very proud of her, & I hope her next 18 years are as wonderful as the last ones were.
